The object is located in the city of Lviv. An apartment for a young and progressive family. It is a three-room apartment in which the owners wanted to preserve the space and asked to redevelop it into a two-room apartment with a large open-plan kitchen, a separate bedroom, a children's room - study, a laundry room, and two bathrooms. At the beginning of the renovation , there were two of them, but after the project was completed, a third family member appeared. A guest room was designed specifically for them, which will later be converted into a child's room.
Here is a step-by-step plan for the layout of the apartment, starting from the developer's layout to the final furnishing:
CONCEPT
The island in the kitchen plays a big role and attracts the most attention. We wanted to pay special attention to the lighting of the kitchen island, as the clients spend a lot of time here with their friends who often like to visit them. The owners love to cook, so a maximum working area was provided. The surface area on the island smoothly transitions into a table made of the same material. The color scheme of the space is white-beige with marble accents.
The main focus in the living room is the relaxation area, which we separated with parquet flooring to add comfort and tactile sensation of natural material. The large comfortable sofa plays a key role in this room. We decided to use wide-format ceramic granite to design the TV area and make it one solid structure that would appear as a single monolithic element. Underneath it, there is a hanging cabinet for various devices.
BEDROOM
The bedroom is located in the opposite part of the apartment. It also includes a separate bathroom, as it was important for the clients to preserve the privacy of this room. We added moldings to make the room more classical.
The TV zoneis designed in the same way as in the living room. Warm paint tones, parquet flooring, beige curtains, and sunlight all create a sense of calm and relaxation - exactly what a bedroom should be.
It is worth paying attention to the moldings as they further emphasize the geometry and sophistication of this room.
Thanks to the concealed installation doors and moldings, there is an effect of hiding the bathroom.
BATHROOM
The bathroom was designed in a similar stylistic to the bedroom, with moldings and marble also present. However, a lighter shade of marble was chosen here to visually enlarge the space and add coziness.
